Ascent Safety is seeking a qualified safety manager for a client working in Chandler, AZ.

Position is 1099, local candidates preferred.

Qualifications/Education/ Experience:

• at least 5 years safety management experience
• experience with groundwater construction.
• OSHA 510
• CPR/first aid certified.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of safety and health experience.
• Excellent public speaking abilities.
• Energetic, ambitious, assertive and an excellent communicator.
• Able to meet deadlines, work independently without direct supervision, as well as in a team environment.
• OSHA and regulatory safety training experience.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
• Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
• Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management in compliance with client and GC expectations.

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Sunday
• Overtime
